ABOUT ME
My name is Miss Bethany Smyda. This is my 8th year teaching, with time split between third and fifth grade. I am a graduate of California University of Pennsylvania, where I earned my Early Childhood Education degree as well as my master degree as a Reading Specialist. I am also certified to teach middle school math.
I will be teaching 5th grade math this year, and am beyond excited! I can't wait to share my love of fractions, decimals, and everything else math-related through the use of my interactive notebooks.
I am always on the go! I love to play soccer, bowl and golf. I am a triplet (two sisters) and have an older brother. I am a proud Penn Trafford graduate.
I am looking forward to an amazing 2023-2024 school year!
