Welcome to Life Skills!

Hello! Welcome back to the 2024-2025 School Year! I am Mrs. McGee, the Life Skills Teacher, at Harrison Park. This is my second year in this role. I have been with the district for 6 years and spent some time at McCullough, Trafford Elementary and PTHS before coming to HP! I have been teaching for 11 years and previously worked for the Westmoreland Intermediate Unit. I earned my bachelors (2012) and masters degrees (2013) from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. My bachelors degree is in Deaf Education and Elementary Education with my masters in Special Education. I am also currently in graduate school for my masters in School Counseling. I am certified in Elementary Education (K-6), Special Education (N-12) and Deaf Education (N-12). 

 

I also have a student learning assistant (SLA) in my classroom. His name is Mr. Brundrett or Mr. B as the kids call him. He has been at Harrison Park for 4 years and runs Lego Club! 

 

We are very busy during the school day so the easiest way to reach me is via email ([email protected]) or via Class Dojo. I am available via phone from 7:45-9:00 each morning and from 3:20-3:45 in the afternoon.
