Ducks Hatch at Harrison Park

There was a flurry of excitement in Mrs. Caruso’s classroom at Harrison Park Elementary School when six ducklings hatched in May.

The class studied the duck life cycle before the eggs arrived from retired teacher Mrs. Lantz’s farm.  The students were able to observe the incubation and hatching and then enjoyed a couple of days with the ducklings before they returned to the farm.
