Fun and Games at Harrison Park Elementary

At Harrison Park Elementary School, Student Learning Assistants Ms. Curran and Ms. Mitchell organized an after-school Game Club to provide students with an opportunity to unwind and enjoy each other’s company, and also teach some classic board games such as Checkers, Connect4, and Don’t Break the Ice.

The club meets twice a month and sees about thirty-five students per session.

“At Game Club, we've cultivated an environment that promotes problem-solving skills and collaboration, all while participating in an engaging and enjoyable atmosphere,” commented Ms. Curran.
