'Read Across America' was observed at Penn-Trafford elementary schools from March 4-8 with events to spark a love of reading in the students.
A group of high school seniors traveled to elementary schools across the district to share some of their favorite books with grades K-5.
Level Green Elementary first-graders made ‘oobleck,’ inspired by the book Bartholemew and the Oobleck by Dr. Seuss. “We learned about solids and liquids and wrote directions on how to make Oobleck,” commented teacher Mrs. Hlavsa.
Hat day, crazy socks day, and ‘Dress Like a Book Character” day were also observed throughout the district.
