School Rock Garden Gets Update

In an annual activity, art teacher Mrs. Allie Christoforetti engaged her students at Harrison Park Elementary School in a rock garden project.

The students gathered outside the school on a lovely September day.  Each was given a rock and an array of paints and markers to transform it into their own piece of art to add to the garden in front of the school’s entrance.  Each student was given the directive to paint a rock that was unique to him or herself.  Some students chose to create kindness rocks with positive messages, and others just created designs that made them happy.  The rock garden, as a whole, represents the vibrant school community and the individuality of each and every member.
