There was great excitement in Penn Township, Trafford Borough, and the surrounding communities as school buses took to the roads, kids posed for photos in their new outfits, and cafeteria staff fired up the ovens. Penn-Trafford’s first day of school began for the district’s 3,900 students on Thursday, August 24.
