The 5th-graders at Harrison Park Elementary School enjoyed some fresh air and fractions on a recent afternoon. Students were placed on teams for a fraction review relay race; they had to take turns running across the parking lot to solve a math problem. The team with the most correct answers won.
“This was a fun, competitive way to review as well as enjoy the beautiful weather,” commented teacher Miss Smyda.
