Penn-Trafford Staff Reports for Duty

Monday, August 22 marked the beginning of the new school year for teachers of the Penn-Trafford School District.  All district staff reported to the high school for a welcome address by Dr. Matthew Harris, Superintendent.  Breakout sessions followed on a variety of topics, including School Safety & Security (Penn Township Police), Diversity (Dr. Christine Herring of Herring Seminars and Consulting), Legal Updates (Christina Lane of Maiello Brungo & Maiello), Special Education (Greg Karasia and PT school psychologists), Wellness (Tim Cortazzo and FSQ staff) and Mental Health (Jordan Corcoran of Listen Lucy).


Staff in-service days on Tuesday and Wednesday will help them prepare for the students’ arrival on Thursday, August 25.
