The 1st-graders of Harrison Park Elementary School held a spirited “Book Madness” to rival the NCAA’s March Madness.
The students selected sixteen of their favorite books and developed a bracket to pit each book against another. Students cast votes for their favorite book in each round. Books were eliminated after each vote, and the contest deemed the 2022 Book of the Year to be The Legend of Rock, Paper, Scissors by Drew Daywalt.
