The fifth-grade students of Harrison Park Elementary School recently completed a month-long mural project, leaving their mark on their beloved elementary school.
The mural entitled “BE-lieve in YOU-rself” was overseen by art teacher, Mrs. Christoforetti. The larger-than-life painting features silhouettes of fifth-graders engaging in various school activities along with the inspiring message. It measures approximately 47’ long and 7’ tall.
“Not only was the experience of painting memorable for the students, but the encouragement from other students and staff every day as they worked on the mural was amazing,” commented Mrs. Chistoforetti. “It truly reminded the kids to believe in themselves, their uniqueness and their potential.”
