School Bids Farewell to Miss Kathy (5-17-21)

The students and staff at Harrison Park Elementary School are excited about the approaching summer break.  They also feel some dismay, for with the close of the school year comes the retirement of their beloved custodian, Mrs. Kathy Naugle.  Below are some reflections on Miss Kathy.

“Kathy is a constant professional, takes pride in her work, works every minute of her shift, is a role model for others to follow, and truly has been an asset to our district.  The staff and students of Harrison Park thank her for making our school a better place.  We wish her nothing but the best with her next adventure!”

-- Mr. Jeff Swartz, Principal

“We love her to bits!  They say we are all replaceable but I beg to differ when it comes to Kathy. She will be missed by all of our staff, not only as our co-worker but as our friend.”

-- Mrs. Sandi Socrates, School Secretary

“Kathy was well known for her kindness and willingness to help with any situation.  She worked tirelessly to make sure the Harrison Park school building was a clean, attractive and safe place to be, but more importantly, she made lasting impressions on the students and staff.”

-- Mrs. Allie Kleinschmidt, Instructional Aide

“Kathy has been an amazing custodian and co-worker during her years at Harrison Park.  It will be impossible to forget one of our best custodians and friends!”

-- Mrs. Jodi Simpson, Grade 3 Teacher

“Without Miss Kathy, our recess balls would never get off the roof.”

-- Drew Hauck, Grade 5

“Miss Kathy is always super nice to everyone.”

-- Nathan Sterner, Grade 5
